MEDICAL DESCRIPTION OF TERBICIP 250 TABLET

 Terbicip 250 Tablet contains Terbinafine (250mg) used to treat fungal infections such as Athlete’s foot, Jock itch, Ringworm infection (Tinea corporis) and Onychomycosis. Mainly this fungal infection targets skin and nails. Terbinafine is an Allylamine antifungal drug that produces its action by killing the fungi which are responsible for infections.

Terbicip 250 is also called mycosis. The infection can affect several parts of the body and the common fungal infections are athlete’s foot, josh itch, ringworm, yeast infection and onychomycosis. Symptoms include skin darkening, peeling rashes, small lump, deformed toenail, itching or vaginal discharge.


Tinea versicolor


It is also called pityriasis Versicolor. It is a fungal infection that causes discolored patches on the skin. It is caused by Malassezia. This drug is used to treat this fungal infection.


Tinea pedis


It is also called an athlete’s foot this fungal infection usually occurs between the toes. It is caused by dermatophyte and trichophyton rubum. This drug is used to treat this fungal infection.


Tinea corporis


Terbicip 250 is a fungal infection that usually occurs in the skin, scalp, groin, palm and soles. It is caused by a dermatophyte. This drug is used to treat this fungal infection.
